2015 FIA WorldRX: Jeanney Wins In Canada…

The FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy will resume after a short summer hiatus as the teams cross the Atlantic for Canada RX, round seven of the 13-event calendar.  A total of 20 Supercars will compete at Trois-Rivieres as well as eight RX Lites in the standalone RX Lites Intercontinental Cup. Reigning Champion Petter Solberg continues to lead the Drivers’ Championship, 44 points ahead of Johan Kristoffersson.

Monster Energy World RX of Canada is part of a wider motorsport festival – the Grand Prix of Trois-Rivieres (GP3R) – that has been staged in the French-Canadian city of Trois-Rivieres since 1967.  NASCAR Canada will kick off the week-long celebration as World RX marks the conclusion.  Also racing during the same two days as World RX will be SxSx (side-by-side-cross), Formula Drift Canada and FestiDrag Castrol.


Joining the World RX regulars in Canada will be two local drivers, Patrick Carpentier and LP Dumoulin, both piloting JRM Racing-prepared MINI RX Supercars. Carpentier caught the eye on his RX debut in 2014 when the five-time IndyCar race-winner finished sixth overall. “I loved the event last year,” reflected Carpentier, before adding: “I analyse World RX for Canadian TV and I was pleasantly surprised when the JRM car made the final in the recent UK round. That was really impressive and hopefully we can make the final again in Canada.”


Despite his experience behind the wheel as the reigning Canadian NASCAR Champion, Dumoulin is new to rallycross and admits the level of competition will be tough. “Of course I want to be up front, do well and be part of the final but, with all the respect I have for the other teams and drivers, my expectations are to show up, work with JRM and try to get the chemistry going quickly,” he explained.

Dumoulin added: “I’ve driven many different types of cars with lots of power – GT cars, Porsches and NASCAR, that kind of thing – but the package of the World RX car is very special, with four-wheel drive and a lot of horsepower. I’m used to a sequential gearbox and left-foot braking, so that will be no problem. I did some ice racing when I was a kid with my brother, which was a lot of sliding and counter-steering. I’m really excited about the challenge.”

Adding to the line-up of North American wildcard entries contesting Canada is US-based talent, Tanner Foust.  Foust, making his third World RX outing this year, will drive the Marklund Motorsport Polo RX Supercar. “It’s always tricky to come into the series as a guest driver because you have just a little less familiarity with the car, the tracks and just the overall racing flow, but I’ll do my best to get up to speed quickly,” admitted Foust, who became the first American to win a round of World RX after triumphing in Finland last year.

Out of the 17 other Supercars entered for Canada, there are two notable changes: Austrian rally driver Chris Brugger will replace team owner and driver Max Pucher in World RX Team Austria. Pucher explained: “I will not be participating in Canada due to conflicts with four other races while my car would have been en route to Canada and Trondheim. We are also using this opportunity to sponsor young Austrian racing talents to try out World RX. Austrian rally driver Chris Brugger will take my place in Canada and he will enter as a third wildcard driver for our team in Hell. He participated in the RX Lites test event in Istanbul last year and did pretty well.”

Brugger added: “I was able to gain a feeling for the team at the World Rallycross event at the Estering and the most recent round of the Austrian Rallycross Championship in Greinbach. I can only thank them for giving me the opportunity to contest such an incredibly exciting and thrilling sport at international level.” Replacing Alx Danielsson in the ALL-INKL.COM Muennich Motorsport team with the Audi S3 will be Tommy Rustad, who won the previous Euro RX round in Germany.  Team owner and regular driver Rene Muennich will race the second team car in Canada.

Since the previous round in Sweden early last month, several of the drivers have been busy with other projects.  Solberg and Reinis Nitiss attended the press launch of Latvia RX where the duo completed a four-lap exhibition race ahead of the news that Latvia would be added to the World RX calendar from 2016. Solberg continued his tour of the Baltic region as he later visited Lithuania and Estonia to watch his son Oliver compete in NEZ crosskart.

Nitiss was joined by his Ford Olsbergs MSE team-mate Andreas Bakkerud and Marklund Motorsport driver Topi Heikkinen at the end of July when all three took part in a Lada race. “I’m not really used to driving that kind of car,” explained Heikkinen, “but the main thing is that it was lots of fun. The fans are really stoked about the sport and I’m looking forward to racing in Riga next year.”


EKS driver and team owner Mattias Ekstrom has continued his run of success in the DTM after triumphing in the fifth round which was staged at Spielberg last weekend. Ekstrom, who won the previous round in Sweden, is now leading the DTM standings and is placed seventh in the World RX Drivers’ classification.

Team Peugeot-Hansen has had a solid start to the year, with team-mates Timmy Hansen and Davy Jeanney placed fourth and sixth respectively in the World RX Drivers’ table. “Since Holjes, my summer has been a lot of about training and spending time with my family. I completed a three-day MTB fitness camp with the Swedish national team and I’ve enjoyed a holiday in Greece starting each day with some training.  Now I feel in very good shape and my motivation is through the roof,” enthused 22-year-old Hansen.

Eight RX Lites will also compete in the standalone RX Lites Intercontinental Cup including former IndyCar and NASCAR driver, Alex Tagliani.  Tagliani will be joined by two other Canadians including Pro Mazda Championship front-runner Garett Grist and Monster Energy athlete Brett Turcotte – a successful snocross rider and regular in the Winter X Games. Frenchman Cyril Raymond will make his debut in World RX following an impressive test in the Lites car in Istanbul last year where he was quickest out of 23 entrants.  Meanwhile, Oliver Eriksson and Alejo Fernandez will swap GRC Lites for World RX.

Martin Anayi, World RX Managing Director for IMG, concluded: “Canada delivered a spectacular event in 2014, and this year the organisers have been working hard to ensure our only street circuit race is even better. The approach to turn one is the longest of the whole year, with drivers reaching just over 200km/h at braking point. It’s fantastic to have five native Canadians joining us for their home event. Patrick [Carpentier] performed well on his RX debut last year, and it will be interesting to watch how he and LP [Dumoulin] get on as they pit themselves against our permanent drivers. It’s an honour to welcome Alex [Tagliani] to World RX in one of the Lites cars.  He has proved himself as a hugely successful IndyCar and NASCAR driver and his entry at Canada RX demonstrates once again that rallycross has the ability to attract drivers from a wide variety of motorsport disciplines.”



After the first two heats at the World RX of Canada, round seven of the FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy, it’s Timmy Hansen that leads the way for Team Peugeot-Hansen.

Sweden’s Hansen took the heat one victory and followed it up with a second fastest time in heat two.  EKS driver Mattias Ekstrom is placed second overall while Davy Jeanney is third in a second Peugeot 208 WRX Supercar.


Reigning World RX Champion Petter Solberg had a difficult start when his Citroen DS3 Supercar suffered from an exhaust manifold problem and saw him placed 16th at the end of heat one.  The SDRX team worked hard to repair the car and Solberg went on to take the heat two victory, 2.7 seconds faster than Hansen. He lies fifth overnight.

Solberg explained: “There was something strange showing in the data following practice so we decided to change the engine – I didn’t want to take any risks with the Championship to think about. I had to do a manual start in heat two as we’re still having some mapping issues – the pace was good but we need to sort the problems before tomorrow.”

Leader Hansen was pleased with his performance but admitted he was analysing today’s data to see where he could improve tomorrow. “I think I can make up some time on the final corner so this is what I’m going to concentrate on,” explained the 22-year-old. “The track is much better this year, it’s very technical – you really need to think about what you’re doing but I love it and the 208 is really well suited to this track. During free practice we lost the rear wing, and put us on the back foot for heat one but everything is feeling good with the car and I’m feeling confident for tomorrow.”


Ford Olsbergs MSE team-mates Reinis Nitiss and Andreas Bakkerud had a strong outing in their Ford Fiesta RX Supercars. Nitiss finished both heats fifth quickest and lies fourth overnight while Bakkerud is placed sixth.

One of the most impressive drives of today, however, was that of Tommy Rustad who is driving the ALL-INKL.COM Muennich Motorsport prepared Audi S3 for the first time.  “The Audi is very different from the Polo and this is a new track for me which is an added challenge, but I’m starting to get the hang of it – especially on the asphalt,” explained Rustad, who is eighth after two heats.

Canadian drivers LP Dumoulin and Patrick Carpentier had a day of mixed fortunes in their JRM Racing prepared MINI RX Supercars.  Carpentier outbraked himself in heat one and was forced to retire, while Dumoulin was hindered due to a crack in his car’s engine. The Canadian NASCAR Champion took up the story: “We were dropping power quite a lot in the last couple of laps and I was having to drive conservatively. There was nothing we could do between heats one and two, there wasn’t enough time – but the team will try to work on it overnight. Despite everything, I’m sure having a lot of fun!”

Elsewhere, World RX Team Austria’s Christoph Brugger suffered turbo problems while Robin Larsson was unable to start heat two due to a broken driveshaft.  It was a tough day for Volkswagen Sweden too as Tord Linnerud was unable to start today’s heats due to mechanical problems.  Meanwhile his team-mate Johan Kristoffersson suffered a setback in heat two after an impact with Nitiss on turn one.

In the standalone RX Lites Intercontinental Cup, of which there are eight entries, it’s Oliver Eriksson who leads the way after taking two consecutive heat wins.  Canadian NASCAR driver Andrew Ranger is second overall after setting a good pace on what is his debut in a Lites car.  Third place is occupied by American Indy Lights driver, Kyle Kaiser.



Frenchman Davy Jeanney has won the World RX of Canada, round seven of the FIA World Rallycross Championship presented by Monster Energy, after a lights-to-flag victory at the wheel of a Team Peugeot-Hansen prepared 208 WRX Supercar. Marklund Motorsport team-mates Topi Heikkinen and Tanner Foust finished second and third respectively in a pair of Volkswagen Polo RX Supercars.

In a twist of fate, Championship leader Petter Solberg failed to qualify for the final for the first time since rallycross became an FIA World Championship at the start of 2014. The SDRX driver continues to lead the Drivers’ Championship by 46 points after collecting 14 points in the Intermediate Classification stage.  Meanwhile Jeanney’s win for Team Peugeot-Hansen sees the Swedish-based squad move just two points shy of Ford Olsbergs MSE who lead the Teams’ Championship.

“After my victory in Buxtehude [Germany], I told myself that I had to do it again – I just didn’t expect it to happen so quickly,” grinned Jeanney, who is also awarded the coveted Monster Energy Super Charge Award for his rapid start off the line. “Even though I won, it was a really difficult weekend for me: I couldn’t find a good rhythm during the heats and I wasn’t happy with my starts of the line.  For the semi-final, I improved my times each lap and my confidence grew.  I feel sorry for Timmy, he was top qualifier after the heats and he did a brilliant job. Hopefully he can come back fighting stronger and take a win in Norway.”


Runner-up Heikkinen spoke of similar difficulties during the heats. “It’s been a tough weekend, this track is really technical and doesn’t allow for any mistakes,” admitted the Finn. “We had a few mechanical problems on the first day and nothing seemed to be going right for us. Today everything felt much better and by the fourth heat we were fourth quickest. I stayed out of trouble in the semi-final and managed to get on the second row for the final, which gave me a good start.  It feels really good to be on the podium again.”


American Top Gear presenter Tanner Foust made it a double podium for Marklund Motorsport.  Foust – who won the Finnish RX round last year – struggled to get to grips with the Polo on day one but dramatically improved his pace ahead of today’s final.  “The full-time drivers are so quick and there’s a heck of a lot of talented drivers in World RX. It took me a bit of time but by the final everything was feeling good.  I’m just delighted to be on the podium and it’s even better to be here sitting alongside Topi who is my team-mate this weekend.”


Arguably the most impressive drive of the weekend, however, was that of Tommy Rustad who made his debut with the ALL-INKL.COM Muennich Motorsport Team.  Swapping his regular Polo for an Audi S3, Rustad won his semi-final and saw the Muennich Motorsport team qualify for its first ever final.

“I felt like I’d won the lottery after winning my semi race,” beamed Rustad, who is currently second in Euro RX which resumes in Norway later this month. “The first time I drove the Audi was yesterday and to reach the final is a bonus.  The team have done a brilliant job – they are very professional and it’s been a joy working with them.”

Rounding off the top five was Ford Olsbergs MSE driver Andreas Bakkerud who is the only driver to have reached every final in World RX this year.  The Norwegian’s consistency sees the driver move ahead of Johan Kristoffersson to sit second in the overall standings.  Bakkerud’s team-mate Reinis Nitiss was knocked out of the semi-finals after colliding with Timmy Hansen and breaking his car’s suspension.

EKS driver Mattias Ekstrom was on course for a top three finish but spun his Audi S1 EKS RX quattro during the final.  Britain’s leading rallycross driver Liam Doran, who partners Solberg in the SDRX team, failed to make the semi-finals following various mechanical gremlins.

Home favourites LP Dumoulin and Patrick Carpentier had a weekend of mixed fortunes in their JRM Racing prepared MINI RX Supercars.  Dumoulin, the reigning Canadian NASCAR Champion, was hindered with a misfiring engine on day one and was placed 16th at the Intermediate Classification.  Carpentier suffered a similar fate when the driver was forced to retire from the first heat after colliding with a concrete wall. JRM Team Principal James Rumsey concluded: “The guys didn’t let yesterday’s events get them down an they fought like the professional drivers like they are. It’s always galling to just miss out on the semi-finals but that’s motorsport.”

In the standalone RX Lites Intercontinental Cup, it was Oliver Eriksson who took the overall victory.  Frenchman Cyril Raymond finished runner-up despite breaking his car’s suspension in the final race.  Canadian NASCAR driver Andrew Ranger claimed the third podium spot.


Martin Anayi, World RX Managing Director for IMG, concluded: “In today’s semi-finals we saw eight different nationalities and five different manufacturers which just goes to show how truly international World RX has become.  This weekend has produced some incredibly exciting wheel-to-wheel racing and I’d like to personally thank the Canadian organisers who have worked extremely hard to make some key improvements to the track.  Some of the drivers exceeded 200k/ph on the straight and this track is not only fast but extremely technical too.  This combination made for some of the most thrilling racing we have seen all year. Congratulations to Davy Jeanney who came out top for the second time this year.  He successfully kept his Peugeot 208 RX Supercar out of trouble and both his and Timmy’s excellent results from the heats have closed the gap at the top of the Teams’ Championship.”

JRM Racing target improved World RX fortunes in Canada

Trois-Rivières, CAN – 7.8.15: JRM Racing has vowed to bounce back from a frustrating first day of competition at the latest round of the FIA World Rallycross Championship (World RX) in Canada today.

The British team is continuing its development season in the World RX series this weekend and has travelled to the Trois-Rivières circuit in Quebec to field a brace of MINI RX Supercars for its all-Canadian driver line up of LP Dumoulin (above) and Patrick Carpentier (below).

Both men drove their 1.6-litre cars for the first time at a private test on Wednesday and, with rallycross being almost an entirely new discipline for them, they knew they would face a steep learning curve as they battled against the best rallycross drivers in the world at their home event.

And Friday’s opening heat races proved to be exactly that. Both men encountered trouble in their first races, with Dumoulin’s Weather Tech-sponsored machine developing an engine misfire and Carpentier’s Marley Beverage Company-backed MINI being forced into retirement after the five-time Champ Car race winner clipped a wall at the side of the Trois-Rivières circuit.

The JRM Racing team worked hard to get both cars ready for their second heat race of the day and both Dumoulin and Carpentier showed a pleasing step in performance as they finished fourth and third respectively.

Despite the frustrations of today, Carpentier and reigning Canadian Tire NASCAR champion Dumoulin, know they have two more heat races to tackle tomorrow and their hopes of qualifying for the event semi-final are still alive.

“I’m disappointed I didn’t finish the first heat,” Carpentier said. “I took my joker lap at the same time as another guy and I was a little bit too aggressive. We touched and I slid sideways into the wall. I should have waited a little bit.

“But the JRM guys did a fantastic job to repair the car for the next race and I was much happier with that. It’s going to be tough to reach the semis, but I’m going to keep going as hard as possible because anything can happen in rallycross.”

Dumoulin, whose engine misfire meant he was unable to use his car’s turbo anti-lag for both heat races, said: “Today hasn’t been the best, but we turn the page and go again tomorrow. I know the team is serious about World RX and want to do well.
“I know they’ll be working hard to give me a good car for tomorrow. Unfortunately, things like this can happen in motorsport and I’ve experienced it before. It’s all about how you bounce back.”
JRM Racing Team Principal, James Rumsey, said: “The first heat was frustrating for everyone in the team but rallycross is arguably the least forgiving form of motorsport there is and that all part of the learning process for us in 2015.
“But the team worked fantastically well between the races to get the cars back on track and our fortunes improved for the second heat. I thought LP and Patrick both looked more comfortable on the track and they’re determined to take that positivity into tomorrow’s races.

“We’ve finished three out of the four heat races today and we’ll be working flat out tonight to make sure we can build on that tomorrow.”


JRM Racing just miss semi-final slot at World RX Canada

Trois-Rivières, CAN – 8.8.15: JRM Racing enjoyed a positive second day of qualifying at the latest round of the FIA World Rallycross Championship in Canada today – but it wasn’t quite enough to guarantee the team a coveted slot in the semi-finals at the Trois-Rivières circuit.

Yesterday’s first day of qualifying proved to be a frustrating affair for the British team and its all-Canadian driver line up of LP Dumoulin and Patrick Carpentier.

Dumoulin, backed by WeatherTechand Jean Coutu Trois-Rivières Métropolitain-Nicolet, had to contend with a misfiring engine in his MINI RX Supercar, while Carpentier failed to finish the first heat after he collided with a concrete wall in his Marley Beverage Company-backed car.

But the JRM team worked through the night to change the 1.6-litre engine in Dumoulin’s car and repaired all of the damage on Carpentier’s identical machine to ensure the team started today’s third and fourth qualifying heats with renewed optimism.

When the action got underway, both men immediately felt more comfortable behind the wheel and their qualifying pace was much closer to that of their vastly more experienced World RX rivals on the challenging Trois-Rivières circuit. A brace of clean and precise performances meant they both finished third and fourth in their respective heat races.

But once all the cumulative results were added together, Dumoulin and Carpentier just missed out on a place inside the top-12 and a semi-final grid slot. Carpentier was 14th and Dumoulin was 16th.

Carpentier (below right), a five-time Champ Car race winner, was disappointed to have missed the cut and felt that he would have secured a semi-final place if he had finished yesterday’s opening heat race. But the 43-year-old was philosophical and said that he enjoyed his second experience of World RX competition and particularly driving JRM Racing’s MINI RX Supercar.

Dumoulin (below left) said: “The car was feeling much better today and I think we had the package together in the final heat, but realistically, it was too little too late after yesterday’s frustrations. It’s been one of those weekends you sometimes get in racing and I definitely don’t think we had the luck of the beginner.”

However, the reigning Canadian Tire NASCAR champion enjoyed his first foray into rallycross and believes he learned some valuable lessons.“Rallycross is definitely my kind of thing,” he said. “I really enjoyed it and I think I could do good at it with a little bit more time behind the wheel.”

JRM Racing Team Principal, James Rumsey, said: “Today was a new beginning for everyone and we were pleased with the speed of the cars and the performances of both LP and Patrick. They didn’t let yesterday’s events get them down and they fought back like the professional drivers they are. It’s always galling to just miss out on the semi-finals but that’s motorsport.
“As a team, we’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with LP and Patrick at Trois-Rivieres and would like to thank them and their sponsors for the hospitality they have shown us while we’ve been in Canada.”
Rumsey also felt his development team learned a lot in Canada and the experience will make the group stronger at future World RX rounds. He added: “We didn’t have any luck this weekend and World RX is a tough place to be when things aren’t going your way. But we’re learning all the time and I’m glad we could bounce back positivity and by being competitive today.”

Team Peugeot-Hansen WorldRX Release:

Team Peugeot Hansen followed up its recent strong performances at Estering and in Höljes with another winning display at Canada’s round of the 2015 FIA World Rallycross Championship. Victory was earned by French driver Davy Jeanney in the N°17 car.

One of the chief challenges in rallycross is to have all the ingredients necessary for a strong performance – a competitive set up, on-form drivers, being quick off the line and trouble-free races – in place for the opening heat of every meeting. Since the beginning of the summer, it seems that all this has clicked into place for Team Peugeot Hansen which has begun to turn the potential revealed at the beginning of the year into a formidably efficient operation.

Further evidence of its form was provided at the Grand Prix Trois-Rivières, seventh round of the FIA World Rallycross Championship and a major fixture on the Canadian motor sport calendar. The Quebec track features the longest straight of the season and the powerful PEUGEOT 208 WRXs revealed their form in the weekend’s very first heat which was won by Timmy Hansen, just ahead of team-mate Davy Jeanney. The Swede was eager for revenge after his disappointment in Höljes and lost no time emerging as the man to beat. He followed up that victory with two more assertive wins in Heats 3 and 4 and was also second in Heat 2 after a splendid passing move.

Unfortunately, his impressive domination was stemmed in his semi-final which he failed to finish after being hit on the opening lap by world champion Petter Solberg. It was a bitter disappointment for the Swedish youngster who had been on unbeatable form since the beginning of the meeting.

Happily, the second semi-final saw Davy Jeanney pick up the baton from his team-mate to win in his PEUGEOT 208 WRX despite having been hampered by persistent niggling problems. After dominating his semi-final from start to finish, the Frenchman found himself on pole position for the final. A perfectly-paced run in that allowed him to secure his second victory of the season after his maiden success at Estering, Germany.

The result has promoted Team Peugeot Hansen to within just two points of the championship lead with six rounds remaining. The next meeting will tale teams to Hell, Norway, on August 22-23.

“The PEUGEOT 208 was in a class of its own this weekend. We were helped by the qualities inherent in the car, while Davy and Timmy didn’t put a foot wrong. We are very proud to have scored another victory with our French driver. We are obviously very disappointed for Timmy who was forced out of his semi-final after producing a superb job to win three of the four heats. I take this opportunity to say that it would be nice if the sporting authorities applied the rules uniformly.”

“After my victory in Estering [Germany], I told myself that I had to do it again – I just didn’t expect it to happen so quickly. Even though I won, it was a really difficult weekend for me: I couldn’t find a good rhythm during the heats and I wasn’t happy with my starts off the line. In the semi-final, I improved my times each lap and my confidence grew. I feel sorry for Timmy; he was the top qualifier after the heats and did a brilliant job. Hopefully he can come back fighting stronger and take a win in Norway.”

Timmy Hansen, PEUGEOT 208 WRX #21, DNF

“I feel especially disappointment because of how competitive I was this weekend. I won three heats from four and was sure I could keep it going all the way through to the final. Unfortunately, my hopes were dashed on the very first lap of my semi-final. Petter Solberg ran into me going into the opening corner and the impact sent me into the wall. After that, he span in front of me. It was impossible to continue because of a damaged wheel. It was very frustrating.”

Volkswagen Motorsport WorldRX Release:

Toomas “Topi” Heikkinen and Tanner Foust finished second and third at round seven of the FIA World Rallycross Championship in Trois-Rivières, Canada. Heikkinen came home just two tenths of a second behind winner Davy Jeanney in the final. The two Marklund Motorsport drivers also clocked the two fastest laps of the final in the Volkswagen Polo RX Supercar.

Heikkinen’s team-mate Foust, racing for Marklund Motorsport in Canada for the third time this year, worked his way through the field from the back row of the grid in the final. Johan Kristoffersson and Tord Linnerud of Volkswagen Team Sweden failed to make it into the final. Kristoffersson finished fifth in the semi-final, while Linnerud’s weekend came to an end in heat four. There was some consolation for Kristoffersson and his team: the Swede has 124 points to his name in the Drivers’ Championship, meaning he is still the best-placed Volkswagen driver in third place. Heikkinen lies eighth with 95 points. The next round will take place in Hell on 22 and 23 August.

Round eight of the Championship, NAF World RX of Norway, is next in the calendar and will take place in two weeks time (22-23 August). The Supercars will be air-freighted on a Boeing 747-400F direct from Montreal to Trondheim next week.  GAC – the Championship’s official logistics partner – delivers cargo across the globe but this will mark the first time that World RX Supercars have been transported by aeroplane.



I will miss the Norway/Hell round of the FIA World Rallycross Championship due to the fact thats the weekend that I will be getting married to my lovely partner Nik. We’ve been together for five and a half years and finally we will tie the knot. I’m a very lucky man!

Anyway, what I can add is that on August 31st, the family will travel to Lydden Hill to make our first visit to a British Rallycross Championship event where I hope to be catching up with Albatec Racing, RX Racing Ltd, Jake Taylor & the awesome Dave Goddard who commentates on BritishRX for AMG TV Productions amongst many others.

I write FIA World Rallycross Championship and FIA European Rallycross Championship reports for www.thecheckeredflag.co.uk and I was an official blogger for the 2015 Autosport International Show. From April 2018, the blog will concentrate solely on the TCR UK Touring Car Championship and the TCR Europe Touring Car Championship.
